Ivy Road, the creator of the Annapurna-released tranquil title Wanderstop, will cease operations on March 31. Despite Wanderstop earning praise and critical recognition, its commercial performance fell short of supporting the studio through the development of a fresh title without external financial backing. The Ivy Road team disclosed that they were unable to secure financing and a publishing agreement for their upcoming endeavor, Engine Angel. Concerns about the studio's funding challenges initially surfaced in January, following the dismissal of five staff members.
